Elaine worked in the medical profession most of her life and practised yoga as an interest. After visiting the Iyenger Institute in India she decide to study to become an Iyengar teacher and in 2002 qualified to teach at introductory level. After teaching at introductory level for four years she decided to develop her qualifications and started training at intermediate level.
2012 Elaine qualified as an intermediate teacher and decided to reduce her medical training and increase her yoga training. Elaine visits India every year and is a dedicated Iyengar teacher. Today she teaches 7 classes a week mainly in the north Cotswold from Toddington Village Hall.
